I have several friends who are going through difficult times, open heart surgery, miscarriage and friendship betrayal. They all are experiencing that peace that you speak about. In Matthew 6:33 Jesus says "But seek first His Kingdom and His rigthousness and all these things will be given to you as well". Other days I forget or very consciously put my own pleasure or SAFETY first. Security is so important to a woman. Yet the only security that is truly real is in the arms of Christ. It is a difficult choice, but one I must make daily, sometimes moment by moment. Thanks for the well written reminder that HE is worth the risk.
