I am studying the Book of Jeremiah with Kay Arthur. Talk about being alone! Jeremiah prophesied for 40 years to the people of Israel and they rejected every word that God had for Jeremiah. He didn't have a cheering squad but a jeering squad. When I watch the news nowadays I feel very alone. Why don't people come to the LORD especially those in high places? I see the judgement that God is bringing on America and I want to weep like Jeremiah did. My prayer is in Jeremiah 3:22, "Return to me oh faithless ones and I will heal your faithlessness."
